August Updates

It’s been a soft summer - growing tomatoes on my back deck, reading books, exploring creative ideas, and putting my phone down whenever possible. Leaving it in the other room, keeping it on silent, wondering if it’s time to break out the old yellow Walkman I got for Christmas 1992 instead. I’ve been taking a lot of film lately - I have two rolls to develop and I’m both excited to see the expired film AND to see if my tiny Canon Sureshot that I haven’t used since 2004 still works. These are all the ways I’ve been filling my cup in this season - and gently ignoring the dahlia tubers I forgot to plant last June. Next year.

I hope to scan and post some of the photos here once they’re done - excited to share.

How has summer been for you? What has it looked like? Are there any spaces for gentleness and grace for you in this season, too?
