it’s ok to take a break
Just another reminder today, there's so much going on right now - it’s ok to take a break.
Sometimes pausing & taking a breath is part of being okay.
Here are some gentle, low-effort ways to take a breather:
• Have a nap or lie down
• Listen to calming sounds or silence (I love to break out ambience channels on YouTube for example)
• Rewatch something familiar and safe (looking at you, 37th rewatch of the Office)
• Have a glass of water, a cup of tea, or make a snack
• Sit out in nature, stretch out on the grass, spend some time with the woods or river.
• Do one small thing that feels kind
• Make some art, or just make marks - art doesn't need to be about producing something, art can be mixing colours, colouring in, or just making space for your creative self
You don’t have to push through everything. Remember: rest is productive too.
